Iam new to the blog thing but i love to read them so I thought why not write one. My subject is weight loss iam 25 years old and am very overweight. iam 5'2in and weigh in at 220lbs!!!!! Some say I carr it well but i hate my body. This has been a issue my whole life. So now i think iam truly ready to change, for a few reasons 1 is that i want to be healthy and not get the common deiseases that go alone with being over weight 2 is that I would love to marry my boyfriend of 2years and he thinks that before we get engaged i need to lose weight. its hard to hear from a man you love that he wont marry you unless you lose weight. i know some of you reading this are saying SHANNON WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THIS MAN WHO WONT BE WITH YOU BECASUE OF THE WAY YOU LOOK??? i know i know, but its my life and i have to learn from my mistakes. As a friend told me at bible study a few weeks back shannon i love you and iam there for you even if i dont agree with it. Thanks for that it makes me happy to know that I do have people that truly are there for me. So daily i will be writing about how it goes.
day 1
woke up this morning and weighed in at 220.3lbs
i ate 1/2 of a cliff bar and some cherry crystal light.
iam a nanny 2 days a week and this is one of the days so its hard to eat well when your watching and hulling around a 15month old and a 4 year old so for lunch i had my other 1/2 of a cliff bar and some turkey.
I did not exercise when i got home figured i did enough with the kids
dinner was 3oz of grilled chicken breast
through out the day i drink water and crystal light
so we will see what the scale shows tomarrow morning
i want to thank everyone again for the support i am not sure if you know what it means to me

Shannon Dale! This is ridiculous. NOT enough food intake. You need to eat a sensible dinner - 3 oz of chicken only is not sensible. Further, don't weigh yourself daily! There is way too much fluxuation in a woman's body to weigh daily. That will make you crazy. Love ya. :)
Well i was told that for the first 3 days all i should eat is protein at 3oz at a time then after that add in salads and fruits well i sure did not stick to the only proetin thing so Doni its going to be tough but i know i can do it.
